The Poker Channel, formerly known as All in Sports, has made plans to bring high-stakes poker event, “The Million Dollar Cash Game”, to UK television once again. The event will be broadcast next year and gives UK poker fans even more access to exciting poker television. The event, which will take place at the Fifty Casino in London, will be screened by Sky Sports TV Channel on September 12th. The show will air on Sky Sports in January 2007 and on All In Sports in May 2007. Famous players from all over the world will be competing at the tournament, each one staking a minimum of $100,000 to take part. Chris Ferguson, Marc Goodwin, Tony Guoga, Gus Hansen, Jennifer Harman, Phil Ivey, John Juanda, Howard Lederer, Erik Lindgren, Mike Matusow and Erik Seidel are just some of the well-known professionals planning to participate. "This is a hugely exciting event featuring the biggest names in world poker and guaranteed thrilling viewing," said All In Sports head of programming, James Hopkins.
