A poker delight is in the offing for TV viewers in the UK in the wake of an agreement between ITV4 and Gala Casinos, resulting in six splendid shows to be shown on TV later in the year under the title of the Great British Poker Tour. Presentable, the TV production company, states that it began the global outburst in TV poker games with the Late Night Poker already in 1999; and is in charge of the televising of the main games at Leeds, Bournmouth, Nottingham, Teeside and Edinburgh, that is, all the five day festival shows. According to one of the company's spokespeople, in order to show the manner in which each regional winner attains the festival triumph, the play will be shown in an in depth production. The TV series will comprise twelve showings of one hour each to be covered by Alex Jones. Participating in the shows will furthermore be a number of renowned players. The comedy pair Hale and Pace's Norman Pace are playing in the GBPT, as well as Liberty-X's Michelle Heaton and ITV1's Primeval's Doug Henshaw as it is for today. According to Gala Casino's Nick Potter, the ITV and Presentable's esteemed partnership is for the long term view and GBPT gains extra status to its games. To date, the tour has been tremendously successful, and it is intended to operate with Presentable and the community of poker players for obtaining a number of superb program satisfaction to be adored by all poker lovers.
