Commenting on Bodog’s sponsorship of the upcoming eGaming Review Power 50 Summit, Bodog founder and CEO, Calvin Ayre said that it was: “a great opportunity to network with our peers and take the online gaming industry to a new level of quality and entertainment value for the players”. Bodog.com, a major online gambling group, announced its sponsorship of the summit, which will be attended by the top fifty leaders in the online gambling industry. It will take place on the 23-25 of April outside of London at the Brocket Hall estate. A spokesperson for Bodog said that the sponsorship of the event is part of the group’s strategy to maintain its position as one of the most recognizable brands in the online gambling and entertainment markets. "We are looking forward to the summit," Ayre said. "It's a great opportunity to network with our peers and take the online gaming industry to a new level of quality and entertainment value for the players." In addition to sponsoring the Power 50 Summit, Bodog plans to bring together leaders in the industry once again at the Bodog.com Marketing Conference. The conference, scheduled for July 23-25, will be held at the Wynn Las Vegas and is expected to attract top names in online sports betting and poker including the major online gambling operators, advertisers, affiliates, handicappers, and suppliers. The conference will have three themes titled seduce, induce, ignite. Seduce refers to the practice of getting new customers, which is a goal of any successful business. Induce refers to the practice of maintaining customer loyalty and ignite refers to effort at growing a business venture to its fullest. Magic Johnson will be the keynote speaker for the 2006 Bodog.com Marketing Conference but also in attendance will be industry leaders from online gaming industry, online marketing, public relations, technology and the mainstream corporate sector.
