As if $100,000 weren’t enough of an incentive, Bodog has just made the incentive for playing at their upcoming online poker tournament even stronger. The tournament, to be held just prior to the Super Bowl on January 28th, will now have a guaranteed prize pool of $200,000. Fortunately for interested parties, the buy-ins haven’t had a corresponding increase and remain at a reasonable $109, with participating players enjoying the possibility of winning the main prize of at least $45,000. Just to sweeten the deal, regular players have three opportunities to use accrued poker points at a special rate for this tournament. The $200K Special PTS Qualifier will pay out credits that can be used to buy into any scheduled Bodog.com event. With these credits, players will not only have access to Bodog’s regularly scheduled $30,000, $50,000, and $70,000 events, but will have access to the January 28th, $200,000 tournament as well.
