The first of its kind in Ireland, the television coverage will be filmed before a select VIP audience at a top-secret location in Dublin. At the death, six winning players will compete for their share of the Euro one million guaranteed prize pool (plus an additional Euro 50, 000 provided by the event’s sponsor). More than 10,000 players attempted to qualify online for a seat at the table as well as thousands more that attempted to qualify in live satellite competitions in Ireland. Those that qualified via the Internet or satellite will be joining some of the biggest names in European and US poker for the final day. Posted on: April 28, 2006
