Bruce Stubbs, the pioneer of the Internet poker world, has had instant results in his nomination by Betfair, the Internet gaming group, to the position of Poker Director. Former marketing director of Paradise Poker, Stubbs has joined the Betfair poker firm due to his vast experience in the sphere of Internet poker since its genesis. Acting for Betfair as project manager, was his latest position in the World Series of Poker Europe which Betfair.com introduced, and where he was involved in the contest's success in a central role. To date he played a pulling the strings role in maintaining the upper echelon sponsorship for Betfair Poker with Annette Obrestad, the nineteen year old poker phenomenon from Norway. Niall Wass, the Betfair managing director claims that in appointing Bruce, we are demonstrating that our Internet poker concern is a very earnest business. Providing results and an outstanding track record in the field has already been demonstrated. He further states that they are looking forward to their poker strategy being considerably influenced. Commenting further, Stubbs stated that as a special concern, Betfair has for long period been much respected by him. His private outlook matches Betfair's lauded brand concepts in regard to the operating of an Internet gambling site, and he believes that Betfair has been set in a special situation to enter Internet poker's sphere as a leading participant.
