While industry analysts predict that new mobile gaming will generate billions of dollars in revenue, the online gaming world is eager to explore its options. Two major European conferences on the subject have been announced with a veritable "who's who" of the gaming world expected to attend. Mobile Gaming 2005 is scheduled to take place from November 29-30 in Madrid, Spain. The conference aims to be the first of its kind to attract major players in the European online gaming industry. Key topics planned for the conference include marketing techniques, creative content, distribution laws and global market trends. Among the highlights is a first-time platform encouraged to bring together industry experts to discuss experiences, insights and predictions for the future of mobile gaming worldwide. The platform's topic will be "Make Money from Mobile Casinos, Sports Betting and Lotteries." The second conference is to be held in London on December 6th. Boasting key players such as Matt Zinder, Ben Hirsch, Iain McCallum and Tiziano Tonti, the Mobile Gambling Forum promises to deliver in-depth information on all aspects of mobile gaming. The event will be chaired by AMF Ventures' CEO Tony Fish and will be organized by Osney Media. Additional keynote speakers include business development consultant Michael Smeaton, who will speak on registration issues pertaining to mobile gaming, and Paul Renney from leading law firm Addleshaw Goddard, whose speech will address the legal aspects of mobile gaming in the United Kingdom. A further event underway that includes plans to address mobile gaming issues is the Poker Summit, also scheduled to be held in London in December. Among the speakers featured at the Summit are John Anderson, Oscar Nieboer, Patrick Selin and Noam Lanir. In a departure from the usual conference program, the Poker Summit will include a forum in which leading experts can debate the issues surrounding mobile gaming, as well as having the opportunity to participate in interactive sessions on almost every aspect of poker. The two-day Summit will also address current issues facing the industry's top executives today while providing crucial networking opportunities. Posted on: November 20, 2005
