Nigel Payne, one of Internet’s gambling sphere most honored and experienced senior manager, has taken the job of the board’s non-executive chairman at network GameAccount where he is the skill games developer.
As Sportbet.com’s previous Group Chief Executive, Payne has joined a shareholder team that comprises Andrew Black, Betfair’s establisher, and the Smurfit family as well as Dermot Desmond.
Kevin Dale, GameAccount CEO, states that they are very thrilled to have Nigel joining them. Accordingly, his knowledge and experience of the field is unbeatable and they are waiting eagerly to operate in close conjunction with him during the months to come.
In 2000, Payne in the capacity of Group Finance Director, joined Sportingbet and the following year was nominated Group Chief Executive. Through 2006 he continued to hold this position and led the company to make many purchases and a London Stock Exchange listing prior to leaving so that the present manager Andrew McIver could take over.
Payne states that he’s excited about being able to work with one of the world’s biggest gaming spheres. These days are thrilling, he says, and backgammon, dominoes and multiplayer blackjack are bigger favorites than ever.
