At Barcelona this week at the World Poker Spanish Championship, Austrian poker professional Markus Lehmann began playing a strange but low geared game and beginning with a low chip pile, he didn't seem that he could win a first; however, Lehmann moving up from the rear to demonstrate how to carry it out, and highest award of 537,000 Euro was his for taking away. A robust poker contest preceded the heads up between Lehmann and France's Ludovic Lacay where wiped out from a dynamic last table were super players such as Christer Johansson who came in third, Steve Sun, came in fourth, and Gus Hansen who too fifth place. Lehmann was in full control of the last round and it was quickly decided as he triumphed with a number of main pots and won the game when the top pair was flopped by him and defeating the second pair of Lacay. 295,200 Euro was second prize for Lacay coming in second.
