Svenske Spel, the Swedish state gambling franchise, has rendered an unsatisfactory H.1 2008 numbers this week with the background of executive managerial shifts and limitations on its poker campaigns on the Internet. Despite the fact that the company claimed that income from Internet gaming rose twelve point six percent and revenue from the casino rendered an increase of nine point six percent, net profit fell by three point six percent to four hundred and nineteen million dollars. A fall of one point six percent occurred in income from sports betting. Anders Hagg, the newly nominated managing director, claimed that the results of the six months resulted from an increasingly poor situation of the economy and expanded competitiveness by overseas gambling firms contending illegally in Sweden.
