The British branch of America Online - AOL, in an uncommon commercial combination with a German betting group JAXX UK Limited, a British subsidiary will be soon providing sportsbetting services to British AOL subscribers. The British subsidiary JAXX of FLUXX, the German group, will provide British AOL gaming members the possibility to put wagers on a series of sporting activities as well as on international horse races. At the offices of JAXX in the United Kingdom, the London group will put up the odds and offer the associated textual content matter, and plans are being prepared so that the partners can join together in the future on additional although current secret facilities. Michael Steckler, AOL Europe interactive marketing head, claims that the firm targets significant aims in Europe and is thinking about several collaborations intended to promote the region's market share. Rainer Jacken, the FLUXX AG spokesperson, considers that the UK market is as important as it is appealing, and assesses that the amount of bets is about seventy billion Euro although the Internet sphere is less developed relative to others. His firm intends to tap all possibilities while engaged with AOL. Work has been carried out with JAXX in Germany prior to this, in managing since 2003 a service for lotteries, which it seems, is one of the e-commerce chief enterprises in Germany.
