American enforcers could put a high price on legality according to British financial site reports

ThisIsMoney.co.uk, the British financial news site, has claimed that undisclosed sources are forecasting that the American Justice Department might attempt to regain all profits garnered by 888.com and Party Gaming.com, the Internet gaming sites, which operated in the United States before leaving due to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act introduced in the US.

According to the site, PartyGaming could involve an amount of nine hundred million dollars while 888.com could be assessed at one hundred and twenty million dollars.

The result of such recouping would significantly damage the firms' financial situation, however, according to the report, it's not for sure that they are willing to pay such vast sums, while people close to those in the know claimed that both countries would decline paying a cart blanche check that could in actual fact terminate their affairs in one go.

A joint payout by the two firms and the chief establishers and proprietors might be another option, who have received, so it seems, big dividends comprising the most significant part of the profits received. It has been alleged that PartyGaming has paid ninety percent of its profits in America in the form of dividends, and it has been asserted that seventy percent was received by the establishing shareholders whose business stake is still considerable.

It has been conveyed that both have been carrying out talks with officials in the Justice Department.
