“I’ll fix things for him,” promised Eve and she went to the very bottom of the garden where she busied herself for a month without emerging. Adam was a raging bull by time she came out, but she managed to divert him by showing him the new gadget she had made for him. “Hopefully this will keep you occupied, Adam, and keep your mind off other things.” In a matter of days Adam had conquered the gadget and spent much of the day playing with his new toy. It allowed him to gamble, an activity he found highly satisfying. Unfortunately the gadget was fueled by the sun so on dark and rainy days and between sunset and sunrise every day, Eve kept a pair of sprinting sneakers on her feet. The online gambling she organized for Adam kept him out of her hair most of the time. But he was a hot-blooded male and he never stopped trying. “Hey, Eve, come and play a couple of hands of this new online gambling game with me! It’s called strip poker. We’re stripped already so we only have to do the last part!”  

Eve became an adept sidestepper, but there were times when she enjoyed having Adam around. “How about visiting that online casino that I loaded up for you, Adam, and spending the evening playing Roulette?”
“That sounds great, Babe! Let’s make it a real evening. I’ll see if I can catch a rabbit or piglet, you stoke up the fire and see if there’s some of that fermented grape juice left in the cave. And I’ll bring back a couple of fig leaves! This is going to be fun!” Adam loped off into the bushes but came back a second later. “And, Eve, tell that stupid serpent friend of yours that we’d like to be alone tonight for a change!”

Adam and Eve spent a long and fruitful night. They ate and drank. Then they staggered their way into the online casino and played Roulette, betting, winning and losing. The real action started when Eve bet everything she had on her birthday, 0. She lost her fig leaf and things spiraled out of control very quickly.
