Yvonne G. Maher has been appointed to take over the position of Thomas Auriemma's role who retired last month from his numerous years' position as the Director of Gaming Enforcement in New Jersey. Forty-five year old Ms Maher, the assistant attorney general and experienced state's prosecutor, was appointed to the Criminal Justice Division's Bureau of Casino Protection where she prosecuted casino associated cases for over four years. Previous to that, she was employed for the duration of two years as the assistant prosecutor of Atlantic County. In a statement made in the wake of her appointment, she claimed to have promised to persist in the aggressive monitoring of Atlantic City's casino gambling sphere's uprightness.
