Where did they find that goalkeeper? :mad: My kids could have played better than he did. If he makes the squad for the next game I will be very surprised. If they continue to play with him they certainly wont make the final.

I have to agree with you on that one, Robert Green did not have a good game at all, the save he made after his big mistake was nearly as bad and almost gave USA another goal.

"Build his confidence up and send him back out there" thats what the commentators were saying on ITV, what a load of rubbish, GET him off and lets see David James doing his stuff, thats what I say.

Yep, it was more luck than anything that the ball didnt go in off the post, talk about butter fingers. :confused: Lets hope Capello sorts it out by replacing him.

So guys who is going to be in the final this time around? Do you think England will make it?

My money was on Brazil, but after watching last nights game against North Korea I'm not so sure now. I was expecting them to wipe the floor with NK, but NK almost beat Brazil. :confused:

Thankfully it was to drop him from the team. :) David James didn't drop or fumble any balls on Friday otherwise I'm sure we would have been beaten with Green playing. Its just a pity the rest of team didn't get it together enough to score any goals, the game was pretty boring for a world cup match.

Brazil showed their true colours though playing against The Ivory Coast, which was a game worth watching. :cool:

Brazil showed their true colours though playing against The Ivory Coast, which was a game worth watching. :cool:

It certainly was and more like the Brazil we all know, but I'm still not convinced they will make the final.

England certainly wont make the final based on any of their performances so far. :confused: They were lucky to come away with a win over Slovenia, I do not fancy their chances against Germany in the next round. :eek:

I hope they do because I just had a £20 bet with my neighbour that England will win.

It was nice to see Guyana beat the USA yesterday, it was a very exciting game to watch too.:D

Oh dear, you lost that bet then. :rolleyes: If that goal was counted making it 2-2 I think England would have been a lot more confident and maybe won the game, but that goal not being counted would have set their spirits very low as it did everyone watching except the German fans.

What a shame that Ghana did not get into the semis, I couldn't believe it when Gyan of Ghana missed that penalty in the final minute of the game. :eek: I wonder if he is in hiding :rolleyes:

Its looking like Germany to win now.

I wouldnt rule out Holland, if they play as well as they did against Uruguay last night they have a good chance of winning.

Germany could even get knocked out themselves yet anyway, if Spain have a good game. :rolleyes:

I won more money on Spain winning than I lost on Uruguay losing so I was quids in anyway. :D But what a game, it almost made me think it was a rugby game at times. I couldn't believe it when that Dutch player hoofed the Spanish guy in the chest and didn't even get sent off especially after having recieved a previous booking. :confused:
