Hey rouly, I saw that film, excellent movie I thought. It's based on a true story too which makes it even better. Kevin Spacey plays a fantastic role as always. Highly recommend it to anyone who hasn't seen it.

wish you could do this on online games lol

Don't we all :D

yer i really enjoyed it as well. Spacey good as always.
How about a top 10 gaming films? Casino, De Niro awesome. Flying Elvises in Honeymoon in Vegas. I thought Croupier was brilliant. An old classic, The Sting. There was a film with Matt Damon as a law student, but I can't remember the title.
Any ideas?

Rounders 1998 was the movie and Damon played alongside one of my favourite actors, Edward Norton. Apparently Rounders 2 is in development and I assume the main characters will remain the same, lets hope so anyway, they made a good pair in the original. Its scheduled for release in 2012 so we have a good wait yet anyway.

Another classic gambling movie is The Cincinnati Kid from 1965 where Steve McQueen plays a rising poker player taking on Edward G Robinson the veteran poker master, well worth a watch if you haven't seen it.

Kaleidoscope from 1966 has to be one of the classic gambling movies of all time. If you are old enough to have seen it :D I'm sure you will agree. If you haven't seen this film before look out for it, it stars Warren Beatty as a poker player who cannot lose because he breaks into the card manufacturers that supply all the casinos and marks the plates that are used for printing the cards.

I remember that film, Bingo, Susannah York was in it too, she was hot them days :D

Another classic gambling film which I'd put in the top 10 would be The Gambler from 1974 with James Caan playing an obsessive gambler who just cant stop gambling and ends up owing money to the wrong people.

Craps, have you seen The Big Town? 1987 film about a craps player who turns pro, starting Matt Dilion. Tommy Lee Jones steals the show, but keep an eye out for Diane (MILF) Lane :)

I am not good in this game but the movie is really good. I like how the artists played their roles.

last part is what I really like when they setup the boss for entrapment.

I think it's an excellent movie with a good script. I can also recommend or just remember the movie by Robert De Niro and Joe farmed CASINO.

Yes Casino with Robert De Niro was an excellent movie but my all time favourite gambling related movie has to be The Sting with Robert Redford, Paul Newman and Robert "you folla" :D Shaw made in 1973. It is a long movie at 129 minutes but definitely worth watching if you haven't seen it already.

Everyone mentions the Sting and there is gambling in it, but I'd say it was more a film about con-men

I just saw a DVD being advertised called Poker Run. I assume it is based on the game where each player rides a motorcycle to several locations and collects a playing card at each stop and gathers a poker hand by the end of the journey and the winner is the player with the best poker hand not the first to finish, it isn't a race. Has anyone seen this yet?

Has anyone seen this yet?

NO. :D But I did look it up on imdb and judging by the reviews it doesn't appear to be very good, it's down as a thriller with lots of blood if thats what you are into. I don't think the game Poker Run comes into it other than thats what they are participating in when the fun starts :D
