A husband was sat at the table eating his breakfast one morning when his wife came up to him and hit him with a saucepan. "Why did you do that?" he exclaimed. "Because you have a piece of paper in your jacket pocket with the name Misty Brown written on it!!" she shouted. The husband explained to her that he had gone to the racetrack with his friend and that Misty Brown was the name of a horse that he had been told to place a bet on by a work colleague. The wife believed his explanation and said that she was sorry.
A week later the husband was again sat at the table eating his breakfast when his wife sneaked up behind him and began to strangle him with one of his ties, he struggled free and demanded to know why she was trying to strangle him. She screamed at him "Your horse rang!!!!!"
