Gambling on what to believe - July 30, 2006
There has been a serious lack of consistency in comments made by people in the US government regarding the legality of internet gambling. Is it legal, is it illegal? What are they trying to say to the industry as a whole? read full article

David Carruthers has done everything for Betonsports.com. H.R. 4411 and H.R.4777 are still alive and well. The two anti-internet bills are waiting to see if they will make it to the Senate. The House Approved the Anti-Internet Gambling Legislation - July 12, 2006
I hate waking up to unwanted surprises. The rumor mill had July 12th as the date for the anti-internet gambling debate in the House of Representatives. However, HR 4411 was debated yesterday instead. While I slept soundly last night (ok, that's a lie, my 6 month old son woke up three times last night) HR 4411 passed with flying colors. read full article

HR 4777 and HR 4411 Will Not Fix the Problem - July 11, 2006
Tomorrow is the day that rumors say the United States House of Representatives will be debating the two anti-internet bills, HR 4777 and HR 4411. People against these bills always use specific examples as to why internet gambling is so bad for the American people. What they don't do is quote any real statistics from a scientific study. read full article

Rooting for Internet Gambling in America - July 10, 2006

While Congress is debating on the benefits and negatives of internet gambling legislation (HR 4777 and HR 4411) special interest groups are standing by. DrHo Gambles on Software - July 2, 2006
Internet gambling is illegal in the United States. Actually, that isn't exactly true. Owning an online casino is illegal, depositing and playing is only illegal in certain states. If the Department of Justice is to be believed they are busy hunting internet casino owners. The owners, however, are like Bugs Bunny with Elmer Fudd, somehow they always escape. Maybe the Department of Justice doesn't really want to catch that rabbit? read full article
