My appointment was at three so I had the whole day to prepare for my fitness test by resting. I ate a light lunch at one and then grabbed my laptop and drove across the city to the sports center. I remembered my last visit and the hours I sat staring into space while the medical technicians rushed about. There are always many people being tested and you need a lot of patience. I decided to give up on patience and play craps instead. A minute after I opened the cover of the laptop, logged into the online casino and selected craps, there were 20 guys standing around begging for the next roll of the dice.

I shook my head and said I reserved the task of rolling the dice for myself. They insisted on betting and I agreed. A few minutes later a wild game of craps was in progress as noisy and loud as it is in any casino. The guys crowded around, juggling for a spot near the screen, elbows and fists going and wild shrieks and groans following every roll of the dice. The size of the bets rose and soon there were major sums of money pouring in and out of my deposit account at the online casino. I imagined that there was some consternation in the banking section of the casino as they watched my puny account swelling and shriveling as money raced in and out. I wondered how I would ever split the money among all these strangers playing on my laptop and using my account.

One by one names were called and someone reluctantly went off for his fitness test and someone new joined the ranks of the craps players in the online casino. But soon the numbers dwindled and finally there were just a few of us left. I was finally called in at about six. When I came out my laptop was lying on a bench in the locker room. I checked the balance in my account - $5000. Not bad for a fitness test huh?
