I took a major decision today. With some of the money I’m winning in my online gambling sessions, I am going to buy not one, but a few of these new ultra small laptops. The possibilities of extending my online gambling activities are endless. I’ve already told you about the one in my car. Then there is the pocket model. The pocket needs to be made a tad wider but that baby can go everywhere with me. I’ll be right at home in the online casino in the supermarket checkout. How about the doctor’s and the dentist’s and the shrink’s waiting rooms?

I bought one for the house as well and I keep it hidden where the kids can’t get their hands on it. This one is my personal online gambling toy. It does nothing else. I bought a different type for the book I’m working on. It has a larger keyboard for easier word processing, but I can rest between pages or chapters by logging into the online casino and play a few hands of Texas Hold’em poker with the boys.

In the office I have a major desktop computer of course, fitted with all sorts of fancy software for these complicated engineering calculations I do all day, so I have taken to keeping a small laptop which is permanently logged into the online casino and can be dropped into the drawer in a flash. Lunch hours are a pleasure with a small bag of sandwiches, a coke and my laptop. I will never tell the boss but my online gambling winnings last month were almost exactly the same as my salary check. I don’t pay taxes on the casino winnings, so I’m way ahead.

My final laptop is the in-bed model. If I’m having trouble sleeping, I put on the bedside lamp and play a few hands on the slot machines to relax myself. I turn the sound down and my wife doesn’t even stir.
