I start off at our very own airport which has the world’s most stringent security checking systems. The first of these is that you have to arrive at the airport and check in 3 hours before your flight. Once they announced that, the airport authorities had to offer travelers a wireless environment so that they can while away the long waiting time by doing some online gambling. It’s always a problem to decide where I should start gambling online in the airport. I would hate to get into a heavy game of poker and then hear them calling my flight. I need a game that I can close down and walk away from very quickly should such an emergency arise. Maybe roulette? I log into the Silver Spanner online casino and click on Roulette. Yes, it’s a good choice. I will play with $1 chips, I decide, and I will play with many chips on each spin, making more wins possible but winning less. This will pass the time well and hopefully profitably. I play the serpent strategy which means that I place a chip on the red numbers that wind their way down the table. The numbers I cover are 1, 5, 9, 12, 14, 16, 19, 23, 27, 30, 32, and 34. This means that I am betting 12 chips to win 35, not bad odds. Of course I am limited to Red but that’s alright. I work hard, building my little serpent exactly the same for each spin and carrying on regardless of wins or losses. My pile of chips seems to remain steady. All around me travelers are rushing about frantically clutching passports and boarding cards and lugging bags that are much too heavy for the overheard luggage bins. I ignore all these pre-departure activities and concentrate on my online roulette game, and my playing strategy. In the background I hear the flight to China being called. I check my winnings, cash out and log out of the online casino. China, here I come with an extra $1,200 in my wallet! Posted on: October 21, 2007
