You landlubbers don’t know what you’re missing! The moon shining over the empty sea, the unlimited food, the sound of the slight lapping of the waves outside the balcony, the sight of porpoises playing alongside. And the ever attentive crew. All the trappings of a successful online gambling cruise. When I need a break from the tensions and stress of the online casinos, all I have to do is to go to pool on the upper deck and lie back in a deckchair and ogle the gorgeous girls sunning themselves, some in bikinis and some not. I may even go do far as to speak with one or two and who knows, arrange a midnight meeting in a lifeboat. On this cruise anything is possible. Then it’s back to my cabin, my temporary online casino which I have dubbed “Charlie’s Caribbean Cruising Casino”, and back to my heavy game of roulette. I am winning, you understand, thus the desperate need for a break, the relief of not having to make the next bet, the big one. I started playing in this online casino a few minutes after the captain gave the final blast on the ship’s horn. I played with ten dollar chips and placed three of them for the first spin. One on 17, one on 23 and one on 33. Why those numbers? Instinct, I suppose. Whatever it was, 23 came up and I won $350. Now I had money to play with. The alternative to not wining and losing my $30 bankroll was to spend the entire cruise ogling at the pool. That would have been okay too. But I enjoy the online casino even more. So I let my chip ride on 23 and dropped a few more for luck and watched in amazement as 23 came up again. Now I had about $12,000 in chips. In a moment of perversity I pushed the whole lot onto “evens” and held my breath as I spun the wheel. 18. $24,000 plus change. That’s when I ran upstairs to the pool. Posted on: September 24, 2007
