You must have seen one of those movies that show the world after Armageddon, after the nuclear battle between two super powers. Bleak landscape, burnt trees. Demolished homes and buildings with ragged remnants of populations living in fear. There is no food, except what can be looted from stores. There is no gas and everyone is on foot. Ghastly scenes of what can happen. Now sit watching CNN and see what’s happening. Half the world is submerged under floods. The other half are being micro- waved to death in heat waves. There is an earthquake in Peru, a hurricane in the Caribbean, mining collapses in Utah and China. The world’s stock exchanges are falling in like some wild game of stand ‘em up dominoes. Head for your computer and log into an online casino before you do anything else. Only a complete break from reality can save you.
