A long weekend in springtime means it’s time to wheel out the barbecue, get the fire going and set up the drinks. All the neighbors are there, on friendly terms for a change, and it’s a day of eating and drinking. All the neighbors arrive carrying bowls of salad and trays of other goodies. I’m ready for a day of uninterrupted online gambling!

Everyone is excited to see everyone else, even those who don’t speak to each other.  This is neighbors’ day, the day we don’t think about ourselves but about the others that live on our block. We stand around and chat and catch up on all the news; we hear about a few divorces, an accident, a couple of marriages and other gossip. We eat and drink and I’m itching to open my laptop and show these guys what online gambling is all about.

Often when I shut down the computer after a long night of online gambling I look out the window and see a light on in a house and wonder if any of the neighbors may also be gambling online. When I do get my laptop going a few of the men stroll over. Two of them are very interested and ask me which online casino I play in. I tell them the Silver Slipper and they ask if I play Texas Hold’em in the interactive section. I say, “Sure I do! I’m in there almost every night, after my wife goes to sleep, that is.” They ask for my table name, the name I use when I’m gambling online. I say it’s ‘Peter Pan’ and they burst out laughing.

“We often play with you, Pete. My name on the net is Freddie24 and Joe here is known as Silver63!” I am amazed. I play in poker games with my neighbors? What do you know! I often see these two names at the table and I never gave it a thought that I may know them. I was convinced that I was winning and losing to guys in some far away country!
