I hate house cleaning. Passionately. Especially after the grandchildren have visited and left crumbs and whatnot all over the place. By the look in my wife’s eyes I can tell there is no alternative. But I’m sure that a little creative thinking will allow me to share my Monday online gambling activities with a spot of cleaning. As long as the cleaning doesn’t interfere too much, that is. I start with the study. This is where my main desktop computer and online gambling terminal stands. It’s so easy. I log in. Call up roulette. Place a few bets. Dust the desk top. Collect my winnings. Place another bet. Wipe window sill while watching little ivory ball drop into my number. Collect winnings. Hey, this online cleaning is easier than I thought! The next cleaning victim is the living-dining room. For this operation I use my laptop, which sits comfortably on the dining room table. I log into an online casino and decide to play blackjack. I place my bet and dust the table. I look at my cards, see a total of 12 and call for the dealer to hit me. I get a 6 and signal that I stand. I sweep crumbs out from under the table. I stop to rest and watch the dealer go bust. I collect my winnings and wipe the coffee table. My wife comes in to check on my progress and I tell her that the cleaning is going particularly well. In fact, I’m almost $300 up. I take laptop, my bathroom expert with me. We start the cleaning process by logging in to an online casino and selecting ‘slot machines’. I spray the mirrors with the cleaning fluid and drop the maximum number of coins into the slot as I wait for the liquid to dribble down the glass. I click on spin, wipe the bathtub and listen for the jackpot bell at the same time. Nothing. I feed more coins, wipe the basin and listen. I hear a loud bell ringing and watch my credits piling up. I can’t understand the fuss about online cleaning. It’s as easy as clicking a mouse! Posted on: June 21, 2007
