“You have to visit this jewelry and accessory store about 6 miles down the road,” said my sister-in-law to my wife. ”It’s a huge place with anything you can imagine in the way of women’s accessories. Of course we went. We found parking and walked up to the place. All round on the outside were wooden benches and all the benches were occupied by bored men sitting there, some with newspapers, others just staring into space. There must be a women’s online gambling den inside,” I said to my wife.

No so. There were yards and yards of counters and showcases containing women’s jewelry and accessories. You name it and it is there. I staggered out, understanding what all the benches were for. I went to my car and took out my laptop. I squeezed in between two old guys on a bench, opened the laptop and logged into the Silver Spanner, my favorite online casino. Of course both these old men craned their necks to see what I was doing and as soon as I had online Roulette up on the screen they asked if I would place bets for them. I didn’t mind at all and soon we had quite a noisy game going on. 

The manager of the store came out to see what was going on and stood in silence as he watched the online gambling action. Then he pushed his way to the front of the rapidly expanding circle of players and watchers and asked who the laptop belonged to. I said it was mine and apologized if I was upsetting anything. He asked me to come inside with him, so I left the laptop with one of the others and followed him.

“Come into business with me,” he suggested. “I will look after the inside of the store and the women. You look after the outside of the store and the husbands. I think we will have a profitable partnership. The men will love the online gambling while they wait for their wives and the wives will be only too pleased to have their men occupied.”

So any time you’re bored, come and do a little online gambling. And don’t forget to bring you wife along!
