The world cup cricket is on in the West Indies and of course I couldn’t miss this once in 4 years major event. I packed my bags, lugged the laptop along in its heavily padded shoulder bag and made for the airport. It took some flying interspersed with hanging around at airports but we finally landed on the island of Antigua which seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. Don’t misunderstand me, I am not complaining. While waiting to leave home I logged into the Copper Bowl online casino right in my own airport which offers a WiFi service to travelers. By time they called the flight I was up almost a thousand dollars. In the Miami airport I amused myself by doing a little profitable online gambling while I waited hours and hours for the Antigua connection. I made enough to pay for the accommodation in the hotel for the coming two weeks. A good night’s sleep in a creaky bed and I was back to full strength the next morning. I went off to watch the first game and enjoyed every moment of it. But while I was sitting there, I realized that I should have brought the laptop to the game as well. There were a couple of long waits, especially at lunch time when I had nothing to do. So the next day, laptop came with me and just as well, it was one of those slow boring games of cricket. No runs, no wickets and no action. Out came laptop all fired up and ready to go. I went back into the Copper Bowl online casino and straight into a heavy game of blackjack, always my choice when I want to do a little profitable online gambling. Blackjack allows the player to make some of his own decisions. I won and I won big. I lost track of the cricket game. I won enough to pay for the rest of the hotel stay and I won enough to pay for the air tickets home, not bad for a casual session of online gambling out in the sun under the coconut palms on a Caribbean island.
